  My mother-in-law wanted the simplest and no-frills burial available (a "direct funeral"). We called four funeral homes and Sound Choice was the most economical. Kay, the funeral director was excellent--professional, compassionate, accommodating and kind in all of our dealings. No hard sells, no trying to drive up prices, just a very straight forward experience. Highly recommend Sound Choice.

  I had to come to Sound Choice in Sarasota last month. The experience of losing someone is so difficult and very painful. The funeral director I spoke with, Kimberly McClure, was very compassionate to my needs. She answered all of my questions professionally and with confidence. She made this experience very bearable for me. I am glad Sound Choice has her there to accommodate people's needs. Because of her I know down the road when I have to deal with having to use a funeral home I will definitely use Sound Choice. Thank you Kimberly for all your gracious help.

  Up until the time that the ashes for our loved one was picked up, I would have given a higher rating. The blond young woman who dealt with us when we picked up the urn should really consider finding another job where she doesn't need to deal with people, especially grieving ones. Not a kind word, or mention of the loss. It was like picking up a parcel at the post office except the post office counter people are sympathetic and kind. Great place if you want an inexpensive cremation but don't expect any sympathy or kindness from that young woman because you won't get it. Very disappointing and sad.

  Kay and Kimberly at Sound Choice in Sarasota made this process easy - they were thoughtful and insightful. I did not have to do any thinking and made this experience the best it could be. I hope to not need these services for many more years, but I will definitely use them again. I cannot express how wonderful they were during my difficult time. Kind, compassionate, patient, and competent. I could not have had a better experience. Thank you all so much! I appreciate all your work and help!
