  Developmentally appropriate, half-day preschool is hard to find in Sarasota. First Presbyterian's preschool is over 60 years old. The same teachers have been teaching for decades. It's affordable and the kids don't want to go home at the end of the day! If you have young kids you have to check it out!

  Preschool management extremely unprofessional and focused primarily on non school related activities. Some of the teachers extremely passive aggressive and unprofessional also. Not a good environment for children. I won't be sending my younger ones there.

  I came to First Presbyterian Church in Sarasota FL a few years ago while I was searching for a new church home. The people were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable and accepted. My first experience was so good, that I knew I had found a home.
  
  The Music program is superb, the messages from the pulpit are interesting and edifying. I was talking to a retired minister who attends the church and he told me that despite the fact that he had preached on the same texts for 30 odd years, he never failed to learn something new.
  
  There is a very dynamic family program, and a contemporary service for the young at heart. Please come and join us some Sunday. You may just never leave.

  Beautiful Building. A+ Preschool. The Church makes the building available to a number of groups, AA, OA, AL Anon, etc.
